Anas Alqassas is a researcher and commentator on international security, power politics, global strategy and international development, with expert background in geopolitical risk analyses and strategic forecasting.
Between 2009 – 2020, he served as a consultant and Subject-Matter Expert at UNDP, ILO, UNDPPA, WBG, GIZ & Abu Dhabi Government; along with other governmental and international organizations.
Mr. Alqassas is a media personality with extensive appearances on regional and international media. He adopts structural realism in international relations and believes in the role of history and technology in the shaping the contemporary life.
Mr. Alqassas serves as a member of the geopolitics / new world order committee of the International Political Science Association (IPSA), the United Nations-Egypt Association along with memberships in other prestigious associations and institutions in the United States, Canada, UK and Egypt.
